Anyone had lap-band?

I am interested in information on lap band and what to expect. Most of the posts I see are from other types. Thanks everyone!!! PS! This is my very first post, but I've been reading and learning from yours for months.

I am still preop but I am probably having the RNY. You can the try the lapband forum. lisa

Hi Michelle, We certainly do welcome you here for any questions we can answer and any support we can give you. I do agree with Lisa that most of us here have had the RNY so you might get a better answer to this question on the Lap Band forum. I see Lisa's already posted the address for you. Actually, we're triplets! Candi Kinney, who is around here somewhere, is also Dr. Morton's on that same day!

Well. it looks like Dr. Morton will have his hands full come Sept 9th. I've heard people call this their re-birthday. I've always wanted to be a twin---now I'm going to be a triplet!!!!! Hey Michelle, Just came from pretesting and meeting with Dr. Morton & Shawna. Debbie said that we can't be the triplets since they've already got 3 they call the triplets...we'll have to come up with something else. I've got to be in there by 7:00 that morning. How 'bout you?
