feeling good this mornign so thought I would just share some good thoughts. hope all of your are doing well. The Lord has brought special people in my life, I am sending this to you to see how many of you actually read your emails. Is anyone really out there? Your response will be interesting! Pay close attention to what you read. After you have finished reading it, you will know the reason it was sent to you! Here it goes: People come into your life for a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime. When you know which one it is for a person, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up h! as been answered, and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season. LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being a part of my life!

Well, it is now good afternoon for me, but I just wanted to say hello and glad you are feeling good today. Every day is a great blessing and the people we meet along the way is just the sunshine of the day. May each day get brighter and happier for you along life's way.

Joe, That was very poignant and very thought provoking. So without the illusion that we are Lifetime relationships on this board. Would you consider all of us to be Reasonal or seasonal relationships towards one another? I will have to give some thought on this and see what answer it leads me to. Greg

Good evening here ..a bit slow today I am afraid lol. Thank You Joe for posting this morning as this certainly has a profound affect and makes a person really sit and think about our lives and relationships! In looking back through my life in retrospect I must say that every relationship in my life has been a good one even if they were only in my life for a short time because no matter what caused it to end, the lessons were learned and I would like to think I am a bit stronger and wiser BECAUSE of them. I can count on one hand how many friends have come into my life and remained a part of my life. And I do long to make more lasting/lifetime relationships, here especially since we all seem to have a connection through this life changing experience, however if we only stay friends for a season, I am truly greatful for that time! May we all treat each other with love, kindness, concern, respect, and encouragement always, because as we all know, life can be very short and we do not need to waste even one moment to express the love or admiration we feel for another. None of us are promised tomorrow! Again, Thank You Joe, this has touched my heart and really made me take a minute to STOP and appreciate the people in my life even more! GOD BLESS YOU! Dawn

Hi again, From the beginning of this journey for myself, I have been following the profile of a really great lady on here who has reached her goals and looks amazing.. anyways, I had not been to her profile in a few weeks and tonight I was reading her updates and when I read her update for August 4,2004 it was so very sad and just confirms what I posted a while ago about life being so short and how at any moment we may lose someone dear to us.. that we should never waste a single moment! you can read it here: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=G1025993964 . I know tonight I will sending letters to everyone in my life just to tell em how much I love them. Anyways, have a GREAT and very SAFE night.. Take care of yourselves! God Bless You All!! Dawn
