Good Morning Everyone..... I just got back from Curves and am planning on doing marathon laundry today. Being gone last week has left me with about 12 loads to do today and tomorrow. Hope you all have a great day. I couldn't get my 6 week check up rescheduled until September 3rd. Oh well, won't know the official weight loss until then. According to the hospital scale though it should be around 37 lbs in the first 6 weeks. But I will let you know the official loss. Anne

Hi Anne, I understand about the marathon laundry. We are taking our youngest son this weekend to Nashville for college and I think my marathon laundry days may be over or at least until he comes hom on the weekend with his dirty clothes. Congratulations on the weight loss that is fantastic. They announced at the support meeting about a walk in Sept with T-shirts and all, sounded like fun. Have a good day.

Hi Rita, If you want more information about that walk, you can find it here.... http://www.walkfromobesity.com/index.php I was going to do the walk, but after reading it - I failed to realize we were suppose to be raising money all this time for obesity. Oh well! Maybe next year. -Katie

Katie, Thanks for the info. I am not a good money raiser even for the things I believe in strongly like helpwith obesity so I thought I would just donate some money. Thanks again for the info. Rita

Hi Anne, marathon laundry!!!! Doesn't sound like something I would enjoy doing. Those days are long gone. I average about 3 a week if that. Colors, whites, towels. We do the sheets in the same load. But we each do our own clothes. Enjoy your next two days. I know when my first one left at age 17, right after high school for bootcamp. He turned 18 in bootcamp, 19 in Mt. Sinai, Eygpt, and 20 just before he got out. It was hard. But once we moved to Nashville from WV, as I had a job transfer, we got to see him just about every weekend. He was stationed at FT. Campbell. It helped him too, because he was really having a hard time, missing his friends, family, and his home. I pretended he was a college when he left, saying we'll see him on the holidays. That was the only way I kept my sanity. I missed him so much. One thing we did do while he was in Eygpt, was we celebrated the Christmas holidays in the middle of January when he came home after six months. Took a big advantage of the after Christmas sales. Good luck honey, Kathy
