Julie Gray???
How is Julie Doing? I am very curious ,I have an appointment on Aug 24th with Dr Hruska and my surgery should be about 2 Weeks after that. So I am very interested in how Julie is doing and what she is going thru.That way I kind of know what to expect.Cause I am beginning to get really nervous .And I am what you call a nervous eater and that is very hard when you are on a pre-op diet. So please tell Julie I am Praying for her and hope everything is going well. Thanks!!

It is my first appointment with her. My insurance will not pay for the surgery because it is excluded. I have appealed twice so far, and the only thing I can do now is arbitration. I have some kind of health saving plan that I just enrolled in and it is supposed to have some kind of contract to where they have a specific contracted price that you pay for certain procedures. I don't know what the price is yet because they have to contact the doctor and the hospital and then they let you know. All I know is that it is lower that the $20,000.00 it would be without it. Time will tell. I want to have the lap band surgery with her. If my insurance would cover it i would have RNY, but they won't. I have gone through all the testing at Vanderbilt in Nashville last year, so I can use those results and don't have to do them again I think. From what I have heard she is a really good doctor. Best of luck with your appointment. Have you had all your testing? I guess you already know your insurance will cover it, huh. Nicky
