Looking for support groups and new doctor

I had Gastric Bypass in October in NYC. I have recently moved to Memphis and I am looking for a new doctor and support group. I had Lap-RNY at Lenox Hill hospital in October of 2003 under Dr. Mitchell Roslin. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions

Try Dr. Virginia McGrath-Weaver. I'm not from Memphis but when I was doing research on bariatric surgeons in Tennessee her name kept coming up. If you click on the left on bariatric surgeons, then click on other surgeons not listed her name will show up. Click on her name and it will give you her phone number. I hope this helps. Dr. Virginia McGrath has support group meeting the second Wednesday of the month at St. Francis Hospital at 7:30pm. I will be there next week so if you want to come......we'd love to have you. Anne

Marie, I've not yet had surgery and haven't been to a support group meeting but I've chosen Dr. McGrath -Weaver too. I believe this meeting on August 11th will celebrate the first year of service.
