Hi I am planning on taking Dr. Oxley seminar on the 23rd. What can you tell me about him, like after submitting the paper work, how long did it take to get an appointment. Any out of pocket fees? All I need to have done is a psych eval. I have medicare/blue cross so I know they won't take long in their approval. After being approved, how long did it take to get a surgery date?
I'm happy for you. Keep us posted. Dr. Oxley is basically my last chance or best chance of getting the surgery, so anything you can tell me would sure be appreciated.
have a great day and best of luck to you Kathy
Hi Kathy,
I went to the first seminar with Dr. Oxley and waited for his first surgery to be in July, we sent my paper work off at the beginning of July. I was denied the first time and did the appeal letter, which was approved in a week. So the time has actually flown by, I kept saying it would never happen and now it is in 7 days. I actually have had my date before I was approved. Pam Davis is very organized. I haven't paid anything at all so far for out of pocket, everything has been included as part of the surgery. To be honest it has all gone very smoothly, the longest wait was probably for the hospital to get prepared to start taking patients.
I hope this helps. I will be happy to answer any other questions you have.
Thanks for wishing me well. Theresa
