This is a wonderful petition and I sincerely hope everyone here will sign them both! Lord knows many of us would end up dead if not for this surgery..I have no doubts about my own health and the fact without surgery I have no hope! And for many many years we had no insurance at all because the premiums were too high and my health would not permit me to work outside of my home to earn more income.. and at one time when I did try to get insurance privately I called ALOT of different insurance companies who said right off the bat I am UNINSURABLE because I am over thier weight limit and am high risk! What is this all about!??? Talk about descrimination! Anyways, thank you for bringing this petition to our attention, I totally support them both! I believe EVERYONE should be insurable no matter what the condition of the patient, it just is not right to say "hey I dont care if you die or not, you will cost us too much money..so you can NOT have insurance!" sorry, didnt mean to get so defensive or whatever it is, but this really doe**** a nerve for me.. thanks for letting me vent. Dawn
