I've called Dr. Madan, Dr. McGrath-Weaver, and Dr. Woodman - none of them are doing revisions. Now what?! DeeDee

What did Dr. Alston's office say about getting someone for you?

Anne, Dr. Alston's office is sending me for a scope and will not speculate on what are the possible processes for "fixing me" until those tests are back. From what I'm reading about VBGs and the failure rate I'm not sure that I want to go back in for just more staples so I thought I'd check around for surgeons who might do revisions. I feel like I'm spinning my wheels. I've asked Dr. Alston's office a couple of times what the likely scenarios are for people with a SLD and I get the same answer... wait until the scope comes back. If they would go ahead and tell me that they won't recommend a revision then I'd know to go ahead and stop this process at this point and seek alternative sources on my own. I just feel so confused right now. DeeDee

Dr. Hugh Houston at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville does laparascopic revisions. If you're willing to go that far I would recommend you try him. Jeanette
