~*Update*~
Aww Thanks Greg! Your so sweet!
It's feels great to of lost all that weight but I don't want all this praise to get to my head, just yet! I still have another 250ish or more to loss before I'm somewhat normal. Ugh. It feels like a lifetime away though!
Anyways, the mall walk was wonderful! I can't wait to go back when I actually have money to spend! LOL!
By the way, When is your surgery date?!?
-Katie
P.S. I replied to your e-mail!
Nah, you'll never let it go to your head, you seem too sensable for that. just think how fast that first 120 went & that 250ish won't seem so far away. Sounds like we both have about the same amount to lose so that makes your progress that much more inspiring to me. Window shopping does suck doesn't it? LOL actual shopping is always better, but I understand the "no money" problem. My surgery date is August 16th & I got your e-mail and a get together of everyone sounds great.

Katie,
YOU ROCK, GIRLIE............that weight loss is so awesome.
And as a member of the healthcare profession for the last 17 years, let me just say something here............rarely does doctors and nurses hear the good things about us.............we only hear if something isn't right.........or if someone is displeased...........sometimes makes you wonder why you got into this at all.
Ain't Opry Mill wonderbar..............maybe we can all meet there someday and do lunch and shopping.

You know, Kelly - I understand where your coming from but these doctors that preform this surgery on us... Are giving us a 2nd chance on life, especially those of us that have over 200-300 pounds to lose!! It's alot different for us....
And on top of that - She's accepting TennCare without giving us a ton of bull **** to go through.
So with that being said - She deserves every word of praise!
Anyways, I have plans for the meet up to be @ the Opry Mill Mall actually! It's called Jillians.... Great place! I'll most more about it soon!

Katie,
Hun, I wasn't arguing with you; I am all for praising good doctors and getting them out in the light so others can find them. I was affirming that it's common for healthcare professionals to feel like noone ever thinks good of us. Dr. Huskra sounds great. I think there's an option on here for praising your doctor so it goes back to them. It's rare these days to find providers who will accept Tenncare so kudos for her.
