~*Update*~
Goood Morning Everyone!
My check-up yesterday with Dr. Hruska went greaaaaaaat!
The "thing" on my stomach is, infact a hernia! Since it's not painful in anyway - just a miner discomfort; she'd rather wait and fix it at a later day. Most likely when I get closer to having some skin removal/or tummy tuck! Also, I don't even need to get a cat scan! YAY!
Now about how much I lost...
90 pounds - From the starting weight Dr. Hruska is using!
121.5 pounds - from the starting weight I'm using!
Judy (Dr. Hruska's Nurse) said I could use either weight I wanted! Haha - Sheesh, I wonder once one I'm gonna use?
Anyways, there's one thing that sadden's me about yesterday's appointment -- My mom and I commented to Dr. Hruska about how many people on this message board love and adore her but yet when we told her this..... She was completely shocked, surprised, and had no idea these many people even commented about her!
I just can't believe with her being, pretty much the only doctor in Tennessee accepting TennCare! Some of her patients couldn't comment on how much this groups admires, adores, and appreciate her generosity of giving you/everyone else a 2nd chance in life by allowing us to have this surgery down by her!
I'll get off my soap box - Some people aren't going to like me because of what I said but I don't care! That women, Dr. Hruska, has saved so many lives by performing this surgery and ACCEPTING ****ty ass TennCare while no other doctor was even willing too..... She deserves all the comments, praise, and positive feedback she can take.
On a lighter note - I finally stoped at the Orpy Mill Mall on the way home! I walked the whole entire Place!! YAY! That place rocks! I need to go back when I actually have spending money! LOL!
By the way, Debbie - I totally need to take you there! There's a place that has some Wizard Of Oz things! They were sooo neat!
Anyhow, I should go now.... Who ever reads this, please don't take this SO personal. It's just MY own personal feelings - You can take it or leave it!
Have a great day!

Good Morning Katie,
I am sooooooooo happy for you. Your weight loss is totally great. I can't wait to be on that side with you. Ok, I am thinking Opry Mill Mall in Nashville, right? I love that place. I live about five hours away from Nashville, but we do get down there three or four times a year. Sometimes I have to go for work and the other times are just for fun. I bought some Wizard of Oz stuff the last time I was there. You were doing great if you walked the whole mall. I wimped out the last time I was down there and couldn't make it. Maybe next year, I can walk the whole mall with you. Keep your fingers (and everything else) crossed for me that come February, I can officially become a loser. Love, prayers and big hugs to you. Keep smiling.
*Crosses my fingers, toes, and everything else!*
You'll get there! I know it! Plus, February is my brithday - so its a special month! LOL!
Plus, just think when you turn in to that HOT MAMA - You could go shopping with ME! LOL! We'd totally knock down those size 2 women!
Hmmm that's an intersting thing to think about - since ya know, we talked about your son and all! LOL!!
Hugs,
Katie
We should all let our Doctors know how much we appreciate their skill in helping us start life anew!!!!! So next dr appt everyone should make it a point to share that with their docs... I know my doctor has a site where you can send him an email thanking him and his staff for all the help they have giving you....
Great job on the weightloss Katie....
I cant wait till i am 121 lbs down.. woohoo...
Have a great day!!!!!!!! and keep on keeping on!!!!!!

Congratulations Katie!!! You are doing so great!! Keep up the good work. I never thought of bringing cheese and crackers to work. I might just try that this weekend. I'm just worried about the constipation. I haven't had problems with it yet but the cheese scares me LOL. I hope that you have a great weekend.
Love ya
Anne
Hi Anne,
My doctor said you could have cheese 3 to 4 times a week but no more then that due to the constipation problem. I just thought the cheese & crackers would give you a break from the sirlon sticks. I can't stand eating the same food over and over again... Hehe I NEED change!
You could always do the same with peanut butter OR buy one of those tuna fish kits - Tuna fish has LOTS of protein but all this food ideas depends on your stage of diet.
Yogurt is always a good choice too....
Good luck!
