CIGNA HORROR!!!!!!!!!!

CIGNA..... I was denied on July 12th due to the surgury was not medicall necessary and they did not have the follow up on my Psy. evaluation... My doctor had a peer to peer on 07/22/04 and the doctor did not see the Psy. information and upheld the denial... The Psy. information was faxed on 07/22/04... on 07/28/04 my information was sent to the appeal board... now I have to write an appeal to the board... I faxed the Psy information.. The doctor faxed the Psy information.... I dont know what do do!!! Now it is out of the hands of the doctor who had the peer to peer with my doctor... Do I have to start all over... of course CIGNA have no idea... Please let me know what you think... Please.....

Hey VEF, I have "THE GREAT CIGNA" also(that was a joke!).Mine is PPO,I really don't think that makes a difference though.I Haven't started because I just know deep down that I am going to have problems with them also.Everything I here on here about Cigna,for the most part,is bad.I have high blood pressure,PCOS,insulin resistant,and just a matter of time before I'm diabetic.I have back problems and my knees and feet hurt most of the time.I think it is rediculous to pay for Ins and not be able to have what we need!
