Saturday, 30th of July!
Hi Ya'll...
I posted this a few weeks ago but I didn't have much information - I still won't until tomorrow.
However, a girl name - Marie is coming down from WI with a group online to see a play @ the Cumberland playhouse here in Crossville. She asked if maybe she could meet some pre-op/post-op's while she's here!
Well.... We decided to do a dinner thing on Saturday night - Most likley meet up at her hotel or at the resturant, which ever is easiest for those of you interested in coming.
If your intersted - Please let me know! I figured we could go out to eat, maybe go swimming at the hotel.... Or whatever! I'm sure it'll be fun to meet and greet some people on the board!
By the way, I have found a PERFECT place for a meet/greet in September, if all of you are intersted! but for now - We'll stick to one thing at a time!
Let me know if you wanna come - So I can update you on more information!
Hugs,
Katie
Hey Katie,
How's it going today? Sorry I won't be able to make it Saturday. That sounds like so much fun. Let me know about September. I am really not sure how far away I am from you. I live between Johnson City and Knoxville. Actually about sixty miles from Knoxville. To answer your question about Santa's Land. It is next to the Cherokee Indian Reservation. It takes me about an hour to drive over there from my house. I only live about six miles from the NC state line. Anyhow, it is a place for children. They have lots of rides, a zoo, magic shows and of course Santa Claus is there to talk with them. My granddaughters enjoy it very much.
Hey Debbie!
You soooooo don't wanna know how my day was! UGHHH! I just hope yours was 100% better then mine!
However, that Santa Land place sounds like SO much fun! I never realized you were so far away from Knoxville though! Hope your son makes it back from Nashvillle in time to go with you!
Have a great weekend!
-Katie
Hiya Katie! Let me know the details. My dh has to work Saturday, not sure when he'll get off, but we might be able to make it. I was thinking that we should do our get together around the obesity walk. Kill 2 birds with one stone. We can make a weekend of it. I cant wait to meet everyone in person. So exciting!!! Oh, by the way, i'm still on that plateau. Not one pound in 2 weeks. What else could it be but a plateau? Its so frustrating!!! Hugssssss
