What Did You Eat Today? :-)
Okay Ya'll.... This is usually on the main message board but I thought maybe it could help us here too....
So... if your post-op or even on a stricted diet - What did you eat today? How much water?
If you want - you can use http://www.fitday.com to help you out by counting the calories/protein...
Breakfast: Yogurt - 80 calories/7 proteins
Snack: 1/2 Banana
Lunch: Grilled Cheese Sandwich @ Sonic - Throw all the crust away! - 250 calories/ 12 proteins
I would of ate something better for me but we were outta town in Dayton.
Snack: Sunflower kernals/nuts/whatever! - 110 calories/ 10 proteins
Dinner:....
I'm not sure about dinner yet because we're having my brother/his gf/my nephew over for dinner! It's Brians Birthday today! There having taco salad though... I might have this without the lettice though! We shall see!
I eat better then this but it's just been one of those days, since we had to leave town for an appointment!
So who's next?

I'm one of your rare people - I don't count carbs! I figured I'll be eating LITTLE for the rest of my life, a carb every once in awhile isn't going to kill me!

Hi Katie, let's see, breakfast was fixed for me, egg, cheese, sausage, on a bun. That was a brunch. Dinner, fish, Water: home made lemonade all day, is my water supply, keeps kidney stones from forming.
Mostly spent the day, on the phone, calling Dr.'s. Have one next week with a surgeon.
I have been working on eating realllllllllllll sllllllllllllllow and trying to swallow. My airwave is real narrow, and if I eat too fast, it won't stay down.

Here goes.......
I'll warn you it's not pretty....
I worked all night so ..
Breakfast: 1 packet of plain oatmeal with a little milk...approx 10 grams of protein and 80 calories
Lunch:
1/2 hamburger ground up 12 1/2 grams 125 calories
Dinner same thing only it wouldn't stay down
snack one: sirloin sticks 3 of them 14 grams 80 calories
snack two: same thing 14 grams 80 calories
snack three yogurt 80 calories and 7 grams
I would have made enough protein but at dinner I was not feeling well and didn't get the extra protein in.....
Also, not good that I only had about 365 calories today
I'll do better tomorrow I promise.
