Pacing the floors
Ok, I called CIGNA this morning thinking they have had my stuff since Friday, so maybe I'll get lucky and they have made a decision. No such luck, lol. The customer service rep told me I'd do well not to call again until after 30 days as the poor people *****view cases have such a hard life and she was sure I didn't realise just how hard a review nurse's life was. Imagine her chagrin when I asked her if she knew what I did for CIGNA. She said no and then I told her I work as a Review Nurse on CIGNA's Medicare contract.
Seriously though, how often should I call and check on my paperwork?
BC/BS of IL called and said they still didn't have my stuff. I would have gotten really upset if I hadn't gotten receipt of fax going through but the customer service rep brought up a valid point. I sent 44 pages of records and forgot to put the ID and Group number on them as the policy is in the hubby's name and not mine. So, I refaxed the stuff with ID and Group number on every page. Hopefully by tomorrow I will have receipt of confirmation from them as well.
Hope you are all doing well; I am tired. Had to go see three differentdocs today. I had cortisone injected into my heel and am hoping it will be a miracle cure. I also saw my PCP with right side chest pain which was fixed by a GI ****tail, so now I can add GERD to my comorbidities.

Hi Kelly!
That's good news that the your paperwork is there! Now just give them some time to review it!
My opinion on how many times to call? Hmm as my moma always told me - Be patient, the less you bug them - maybe thats just how much faster they'll get it done before you **** them off calling everyday.... Maybe she's right, I dunno! LOL!
Good luck on your review! I'll cross my fingers for you!
