First day at Curves
Well I finally joined Curves today and did my first 30 minute workout!! The first time around the equipment was the hardest. The second time was easier and the third time went by really fast. My heart rate stayed between the 70% and 80% which is awesome for burning calories!! So I'm gonna try to go atleast 4-5 times per week. I'm hoping that it helps with the skin tightening while the weight comes off. I'm sure it will increase the weight loss by a little too. I'm so psych'd. I'm gonna go in the streets!!
Now I really can't wait to go weigh again on the 11th.

Hi Anne, Sounds like you are doing great. Good for you. How have thing been going? What have the past few weeks been like? I'm still going round and round with CIGNA, I was denied due to they did not feel the surgery was medically necessary and the Psy Eval. Dr. McGrath had a peer to peer on the 22nd and the denial with upheld because they did not have the follow up on my Psy. Eval. I was told it was faxed over on the 23rd. I called today and there was no update. I want give up I will keep trying. I just hope when they get the Psy. Information I will be approved. Keep me posted... Take Care... Valerie

Don't give up. What happened with the Psych eval????? Something they said in the evaluation? I hope that all goes well for you and you're approved quickly.
I've been doing really well. More energy as the pounds come off. I get a re-weigh on the 11th of August.

well it sounds like you are doing greati was trying to do curves
about a month ago,but i now have knee problems and have not been
back in a while.i sure hope this surgery helps that.i really did like
going to and yes it will help a lot with the weight loss.i did an exercise
class about 5 year ago and loss 53lbs.so exercise does work.keep up

I'm jealous though - I wish we had a curves in this town, well actually we use to but that was way before I had my surgery! Oh well..
Keep up the great work! Doesn't working out make you feel sooooo much better? I know walking helps me but I've slowed down on it and it's kicking my ass now but after Thursday, I'll be back at it!
