Goood Morning Everyone! How was your weekend? How are you doing surgery wise? Post-Op? Pre-Ops? Details! Anyways, my weekend went good... well sorta! We had my nephew all weekend! He's so adorable but gosh keeps you busy! I finally fixed my website, so if you click on http://www.princesspurple.com and then click on "Photos of Ashton" - You can finally see a picture of the little man, I talk about so darn much! Sunday, was a hard day for everyone though - It was a year ago Sunday, that my grandfather passed away. However, talking about the good times helped alot! Especially the time he promised a $1 buck for every pound I lost.... Of couse, mom said I needed to tease grandma and see if she's paying up Pap's old debts! LOL! Anyhow, I found a new way to get the protein in! 1 can Vanilla Slim-fast 2 tablespoons peanut butter (I like the low-carb skippy creamy!) Put in a blender... YUMMMMMY! About 27 grams of protein, in just one drink! I wanna try that with milk chocolate - but I decided not to buy the chocolate for awhile, they were starting to taste TO sweet and felt like I was having dessert all the dang time!.... Not such a good thing! About chat? I haven't actually read the that post in awhile.... but what about we meet up on Wednesday?! Gives a boost in the middle of the week - Maybe around 8 est/7cst! Just an idea! Hope ya'll are having a great monday (If thats even possible! LOL!) -Katie P.S. I failed to mention something!! Saturday was the 24th - My 4 months post-op!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boy, has the time gone by fast! I just wish I knew how much I've lost! Hopefully, Thursday I'll know for sure!!

Katie and all, Gooooooooooood morning. Your nephew is a doll baby, hun. I love them when they are in that stage; beats the heck outta being older and able to talk back. Sorry yesterday was rough for your family as the anniversary of losing someone special. My incentive is the DH told me when I lose all the weight I want and then get the insurance to pay for a tummy tuck; he will pay for the boob job. I don't so much wanna be bigger (well ok, I say this but having never really been small I am not sure what size breasts I will end up with) but I do wanna lift and shape kinda thing). Is this the low-carb slimfast you are talking about? I haven't tried it yet but heard it was good. As for chat, Wednesdays work for me and I usually get home 7ish on those nights. Just let me know what you guys decide. Well, I am off to was this goo from my head and try to get to work for an hour or so before I have to go see my neurologist, and then back to work before I have to see the podiatrist late afternoon. Aww Kelly! That's so sweet of your hubby! Your boobs will go away! Sad to tell you! I was a double D and I've gone down to cup size C, in only 4 months! Lordy, I think I cried in the dressing room when I found this out! About the slim-fast - Yes! It's the low-carb one. It has LESS sugar then the regular slim-fast and MORE protein too. There not to bad tasting... You can get 2 different flavors of chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla! Take Care! -Katie

A big bright good morning to you Miss Katie. I had a pretty good weekend, so I can't complain about anything. My son got me an awesome gift and I was sooooooooooo happy. I love anything that is Wizard of Oz and he bought me a pair of ruby slippers that were hand made by some lady in Alabama. I was so excited. He even got them in my size!!! They are beautiful and of course, I put them in my curio cabinet with the rest of my collection. I have such a good son. By the way girls, he is 27, handsome, and single. He says there's not to many good women left in this world, so we need to prove him wrong!! I am still waiting out the six month diet period my insurance requires and hoping that the time passes by quickly. Hopefully, next February will roll around fast for me. Awww Debbie! That is SO sweet of your son! I love that movie too! I need to get it on DVD, if I ever see it! However, about your son - Sheesh! Send me a picture, already! He's about the age I usually date, but of course I still have alot more weight to loss, unless he's a rare guy and doesn't look at that! LOL! Although, if we prove there are good women out there - Is he gonna prove theres actually GOOD men too? Anyhow, I'm sorry your having to wait until February hon but you know - it'll be here before you know it! I mean just think next week is gonna be AUGUST ALREADY! Dang it! Have a great week! No I don't have the Wizard of Oz board game. I will have to send my family on the lookout for that one. I think my son is a good person, but I might be a little partial. LOL He is 6'2'', weighs 220, has black hair and hazel eyes. He works full time and plays lead guitar for a rock band. He doesn't smoke, drink or do drugs. He loves kids and best of all he believes in GOD. I am very proud of him. We tend to have a musical family. My first cousin is a record producer in Nashville and plays bass guitar for Tracy Lawrence. He use to play for Lorrie Morgan. Somehow, I missed out on the talent. I tell them I got most of the beauty. LOL

Ohhh I'll find the link to the game board! It's really cool! However, gosh your son sounds NICEEEEEEE! Why is he single? Whatever the reason is... Tell him to stay single until NEXT summer because you know a super cute redheaded girl! Oh I'm sure he'd love to hear that huh? LOL! About that musical talent? -- lucky guy!!! Ya know, I use to like Lorrie Morgan - when I was younger, I adored her! LOL! I heard she had a new CD out but I've not seen it! Hmm... Hehe your right! Yep Katie, Next summer I am looking forward to being one hot mama!!!LOL My family knows I am very young at heart and if I can just this extra weight off of me, I will prove to them I can still beat them in basketball. To answer your question about my son, he is still single because he was involved in two serious relationships and both of them left him hurt really bad. He doesn't like to go party all the time and the girls cheated on him. He wants someone that doesn't drink and run around. He likes his music and his family life. He spends a lot of time with his grandparents on their farm. He has just always been a great blessing in our family. I have a daughter also. She is wonderful. She is married with two little girls that we all spoil rotten. I will be sure and tell my son that I have met a young lady on the boards that seems to be the sweetest yet. He was in Nashville last week for the Ozfest and has to play in a big riverfront concert this Friday night in Erwin. Saturday he is going with me to take my little granddaughters to Santa's Land. He has to help me keep up with them because their mom has to work.

Awww your son sounds alot like me - I just don't have the music talent! LOL! I don't drink and I hate running around to bars! I use to drink once in awhile with friends but now that I've had the surgery, I don't see any point in testing out this new stomach. By the way, He's so lucky to of gone to OzzFest! I didn't hear about it till the weekend it was happening - I know a few people that went! Lucky Peeps! My friend Tonya (which is on this board) - wants to go Sting in September, we shall seee! Sounds like fun though! However, I'm completely jealous you have 2 baby girls! All I get is a nephew! LOL! I keep teasing my brothers that they should get me a niece but... Well... Shake sounds good Katie. I had a good weekend. Watched movies all day yesterday because of the rain. I weigh again on the 11th so I'm not too sure how much I have lost so far. I know that things are starting to get bigger. You better keep us posted not only about the weight loss but about the status on the hernia too. Wishing you the best. Anne
