My Dad

As some of you may or may not know, My mother died January 1st. My parents were married for 54 years, and my father worshipped my mom more than I've ever seen a man love a woman. Needless to say, it's been very hard on him, not only having to deal with his loss, but having to learn a whole new life at the age of 78 years old. He called me tonight with some distressing news about his health. He seems to be having some colon problems (black tarry stools). He had prostate cancer years ago, but they caught it early, and he has done fine until now. It doesn't help that he is in California, and I am here. I need some hugs,,,,

Hugs to you Carol and prayers going your Dad's way. My Dad also had to cope with losing a wife of 45 years a couple years ago. Thank God he's in good health and is doing well. I hope that all turns out ok with your Dad. Does he have any other family close by to help him with all of this? Anne
