I am so excited & I posted earlier that I sent off for all these clothing magazines to come to my house & there is so much cute stuff in them. I wish I could fast forward to next summer & know what size I'm going to be b/c I'd love to get some of these outfits, but for now I'm just going to cut out the pictures & put them in a book of outfits I'd like to wear one day. Also, shoes, man do I love shoes, but I hardly ever wear heels b/c it's just to hard to balance all this weight on some 1 inch wide heels, plus I'm always afraid I'm going to break them. So I can't wait till next summer to be able to wear some flowy sundress w/some goreous heels. Ok, I know I'm dreaming, but I just can't help myself! TTYS Candi

Borrow clothes, wouldn't that be nice. I've never been able to borrow anyone's clothes b/c I usually don't know anyone as big as me & you know what else why bother, one potato sack looks just like the other one. Candi

No, I haven't really looked much yet b/c I'm not too sure what my post-op diet is going to consist of, but I saw some drinks today that looked like they might be pretty good, at least the flavors sounded good, they had 11 grams of protein in them. I go for my pre-op tests & consult on August 24th, so I guess I'll be told them about what I'm going to be eating/drinking, so I figured I'd just get whatever I need after that. About our meds, I am sooooooooo hoping to get off my Glucophage & my PCP has already said that he would f/u w/me after my surgery, so I'm going to be doing that b/c the sooner I can get rid of this "pre-diabetes" the better! Send me your questions anytime, we're band buddies!! TTYS Candi

I started that shopping last fall. They still have the tags on them. I will get into them. I got to one size fits most in night shirts, and a nylon work out suit. If I see them on clearance or at a flea market, I go ahead and get them. I am being cautious to just by one-two sizes lower. I gave away most of the clothes last winter that I couldn't get into. I was thinking that I wouldn't need them this winter as I was hoping to have had my surgery already. So I wll live in sweats if I have to. But since I am going to be a new grandma, I want this surgery over and fast. High heels, what are those? Haven't worn them in a long while. I too can't wait for summer. A whole new me. Best of luck to you and your journey. Hugs Candi to you, Kathy

I so know that feeling. The last time I actually went clothes shopping was my senior yr of HS my mom wanted to get me a new wardrobe for college. So off to Lane Bryant we went. I don't know how many pairs of jeans she brought for me to try on but none of them fit and I just ended up crying and we left without buying anything. So a few weeks ago my mom took me to Lane Bryant once again of course at first I was dreading it but they had a 70% off clerance rack so I grabbed the largest size terry pants they had on it (26/28) and headed to the dressing room and I'll be damn if it fit I was so tickled. The best thing is they have a DRAWSTRING Woo hoo so we bought two pants and two tank tops and got all of it for under 30.00 ( I had a 15% coupon on top of the 70% discount). Then my baby sis came down last week and she wanted to go to wallyworld. So we were looking through the panty section and Ive always wanted to wear those "boy short" ones and frankly at a size 14 you couldn't find them anywhere reasonable so I mentioned to my sis that one day Im gonna wear those she asked me my size I told her 12 she went and grabbed a pack she goes here. I was soooooooooo shocked. Then she was looking through those "hipster" style panties and she showed me one I told her I dunno she goes "look you've lost weight you gotta start buying stuff like this" only problem there was the largest size was a 9. She grabbed the one that had my sign on it (virgo) and goes here at this rate you will be in these in no time. Im actually enjoying shopping now but Im still leary when I see the biggest size is a 26/28 I just can't believe Im back into that size again.
