Another step closer !!!

Hi everybody!!! I have been on vacation! I just wanted to check on everybody and wish you all well!!! I went for my deitation consult and my doctor visit everything is fine and ready to go!! I go August 4th for my pre-op stuff at the hospital !! I was told to get my vits and start taking them now and to try out some protien shakes before, any ? Dr Colquitt also said I should go on a low fat diet a week before to help my liver size. The old ball-in-chain showed up at the doctors office, I had taken my daughter as my support person because he was not real excited about the surgery. Well he behaved pretty good asked alot of questions and did ok, I was alittle embarssed when he asked " how many people you have done this to died" but Dr Colqiutt didn't seem to mind or be offened and said "none". My husband seems to feel alittle better about the surgery. I have 16 more days you guys are great !!! Besty to all Linda

Hi Linda, Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. I will be having mine 1 week after you in Knoxville. My doc wants me to diet also before the surgery to shrink the liver, so I guess we had better get those "last meals" out of the way early. It is a good thing to go ahead and start on vitamins & protein since that will really help your body to heal faster after surgery. I really like the Champion Pure Whey Stack in Chocolate or Proscore 100 also in chocolate (couldn't tell I'm a chocoholic huh? LOL). Hiya Linda! Congratulations on another big step taken. Its great that your dh showed up at the consultation to support you. Everyone asks that question though, about how many patients the surgeon has had to die. Its normal and good to ask. Isnt it exciting to count the days down. You'll do great! Thanks Melanie !!! Yeah now that it's over I'm glad he did too, he's just a worry type person but I knew he would come around at the end. Counting the days came quick!! It's like wow I need to get this done and that done and not much time, and it feels like yesterday it was never going to get even close !!! I'm getting little butterflys in the tummy nervous and not sleeping real good, I except that will get worse !!! Best wishes Linda
