Self Paying for surgery

Hi all, I just wanted to get some more information from people who have had to self pay for their surgery. I have been researching the Gastric Band Institute in Dalton GA. Has anyone here been there? I am interested in Dr Jaime Ponce. He is suppose to be really good. The doctor here in Clarksville that is now doing gastric banding studied under him. I would appreciate any input from all of you. I am looking for things like how much you paid, if you financed it, the overall experience. Thanks a bunch. Nicky

nicky i think he is the one that does it at east ridge hospital in chattanoog there is a seminar on aug the 11 and i think he is the one doing the seminar look in to it i am going to seminar that eveing kristie

Kristie, They do have a center in Chatanooga also. I had them send me a packet. I would love to go, but since I know my insurance won't cover it and I don't have the $13,700.00 is cost at this time, I can't. I am hoping that in the next year or so I can refinance my mortgage or take a home equity loan out and do it that way. For now I am on Weigh****chers(again) I have lost 25.6, but still have 100 or so to go. Thanks for responding. Let me know what you think of the seminar. Nicky:thunbsup:
