~*My Update*~

Good Morning Ya'll... I have, yet, another new update! My PCP wanted me to have a cat scan of my stomach, so they finally found a place that does it on someone my size.... but it caused me to have to reschedule with Dr. Hruska. I talked to Judy, Dr. Hruska's nurse - She said its most likely a hernia and depending on what the cat scan shows and if it hurts depends on if I get it fixed now. Even know I don't wanna go through surgery again, I think it might be a better idea to have it fixed -- Rather then waiting to wake up one morning in pain!! We shall see what happens though... Soo... July 22nd - Cat Scan in Cookville July 29th - Dr. Hruska, I finally get to weigh!!!!! Take care ya'll.... -Katie

Hi Katie, Hopefully it will turn out to just be a hernia. If so, you are right it should be taken care of as soon as possible even though I know what you mean about more surgery. Keep everyone posted & know that you are in our thoughts. Greg

Hi Katie, I agree with the others, a hernia may not show up on a ct scan, mine didn't and it's the the size of a cantalope. But it needs to be repaired and soon. They grow fast. Best of luck to you katie, you're in my prayers. Kathy with

Hey katie, I will be thinking of you today... hope everything goes well, I am feeling better... i called the docs office yesterday because my stomach was hurting so bad.. they said the same thing you said ... stay away from chicken for now... Because it seems to be the culprit right now.. so i kept everything down yesterday... but i had all very smooth stuff.. nothing chunky... and thank God she told me i could start swallowing my pills as long as they were as small as a asprin... I feel so much better ...had no problems taking them....wheew!!!!!!!! Well , let me know how things go... i will be thinking about you all day... your friend Robin

Hay there Katie, wanted to say that I'm glad to see that your going to get that stomach of yours taken care of. I hope it's nothing... We all know that surgery isn't fun, but truly necessacery. (spelling???) Your health is important. As for your weight, You'll be fine.. I of course swore that I wouldn'****ch the scale. And, I watch every pound come off. Hee hee.. And there were ALOT to watch. Congrats of your 4 months.. Time flys after surgery... Let me know how things go at the dr's.. -Bernice
