hospital stay
Congrats all I can say is don't pack much. I went home in the same clothes I wore to the hospital. Make sure its real loose fitting. The stuff I did pack mostly stayed packed since the hospital pretty much provided me with things I needed. I did use the two piece PJ's I brought, House slippers(ya know walking those floors), my hats ( not being able to wash hair causes a few bad hair days), Camera (gotta have those before shots), Journal I even had my nurses sign mine, female products unless you enjoy using a pad the size of a matress and thats really about it. As far as a place for the DH I don't know the hospital I stayed at had reclining chairs that my mom and nephew slept in during my stay. Im saving you a spot on the losers bench take care
Hiya Donna! Congratulations on your upcoming rebirthday! I did like most of us do and overpacked. Hospitals really do have most everything you need. I did use my robe and slippers, and tampons because I started the day after surgery. Other than that I too went home in the clothes I wore to the hospital and everything else stayed packed. I did have my dh bring me a couple of hand held games to play. TV in the hospital sucks. They have very limited channels. Centennial Hospital has large rooms and there were 3 chairs in there. One was a nice wide one that folded out into a cot, but my dh went home every night. He didnt stay with me. We lived 1 1/2 hrs from the hospital and he worked while I was there. Best of luck to ya! I'll keep you in my prayers. God bless!
