Can anyone join this great group?

I have been reading several of the posts and looking at the pictures, they are a true inspiration. I have just finished all of my testing and am waiting on my first letter to be sent to the insurance company! I have been a little depressed though because July 5 I fell and shattered my patella and fractured my femur. I still made it to all of my appointments thta Dr Ray set up thanks to my very wonderful supportive husband. I am just praying this leg things heals so I can get the WLS underway! Guys keep up the good work you will never know how much you encourage people when they really really need it Thanks Kristy

Kristie, Hi thanks for responding. Dr Ray is with Premier Surgical Group in Maryville, TN He is in with Dr Mark Colquitt. I have Blue care medicaid. Are you wanting surgery or just thinking about it right now? my sister had the surgery at Vanderbuilt (sorry don't remember the Dr.) june 22 and has already lost 35lb. She wenty back to work in 2 weeks and is doing great!! Hope this helps , Kristy
