Personally - I don't have a goal nor did my doctor and I ever talk about one. I did this to be healthy.... However, if you 'need' or 'want' a goal - You should talk to your doctor and between the both of you, you'll find the perfect goal weight for yourself. Good luck, Katie

Janice, I think you should set your own personal goal one that you feel comfortable with. I just asked a question on the main board earlier tonite about what I just put mine at. I am 5'3" and I should be 130 but that is not a good goal for me because the other factor like I am very large boned to begin with and would look very anerexic at that weight and I have had two children by c-section. I also have alot of muscle mass and have always weighed more than anyone would ever guess. I am setting mine to 160lbs. Hope this helps and good luck on your journey. Tara

Hi Janice, My Surgeon asked me if I had a number in mind for a goal weight. I told him & he said that for my height & bone structure that would be a good weight. Not a whole lot of discussion about it other than that. You really should be the one to choose what weight you think you would be comforatable at no matter what doc says. Remember it's your body.
