Insurance question

Has anyone out there delt with United Health Care. PPO ? If so, any pointers would be appreciated. Never have asked them for much and I am 63. This is going to be a bigger for me. Donna cox

Donna, I have United Health Care.. PPO They approved me quickly.... I sent in my application to the Doctor on March 23.. and they sent in the letter to the insurance on April 19th and May 6th I was approved.. The company I work for is Home Depot... So Check with them it never hurts to apply for it.. But I had no problems... Robin 14 days post op.. -14 will find out more today!!

Donna, We have UHC here at work and it approves, but it's not a slam-dunk. I'm having to appeal, but that's because my BMI isn't 40. However, from what I understand, that is just specific to my company. Best of luck! Jen
