Good Morning everyone...
I just wanted to say thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. It meant soo much. I was in just pain from the drive home from Nashville (they are doing some terrible road construction on I40) when we got home my bf printed them all off and it helped me to know I wasn't alone. Thanks so much. I weighted last night out of curiousity and according to my scales I'm down 7lbs since the 1st. I couldn't believe it. I'm feeling better today although still somewhat sore and have the worst time trying to get in all my protein. All I want to do is sleep. I am getting lots of water though. Did and of the post-ops on here have that problem? What did you do to start getting in your protein. Any suggestions would be great. Again thanks everyone!!!
HUGGS AND LOVE,
Tonya
Tonya, I am soo glad you are feeling better! I am still a pre-op but my doctor said the first couple of weeks get as much protein down as you can but don't worry if you can't get it all! That is just the first couple of weeks. She said what is most important at that time is water. I hope this helps! Take it easy and please keep us all updated! Cherry
Good Morning Tonya!
I'm SO glad to hear your doing so well! But honey don't worry about getting that protein in so much for right now - You have enough protein stored in you right now until your fully recovered and off the liquid stage of the diet.
So... for right now, just worry about healing, sleeping, and takeing care of yourself. This is what is important! However, that is fantastic your getting your water in - That will keep fevers done or get de...(sp?)
Anyways, I'll talk to you soon! When you move on to your next stage of your diet - You should be able to eat yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs.... (you should have a list from your doctor....)
Take care sweetie! I know I haven't been the best angel but you know I've been thinking about you - ALOT! My family in Michigan and friends are all sending you best wishes and hoping you have a speedy recovery!
Love,
Katie
