Monday Roll Call!

Good Morning Ya'll! How was your weekend? Mine was good but busy! Shopping and then a baby shower on Saturday! Sunday was making dinner for fathers day dinner which lead mom & I to Krogers! LOL! If I get out of this funky mood - We may be going to Knoxville today for some last minute gifts before heading to Michigan but who knows - After yesterday, I highly doubt I'll be going to Michigan. Which is fine. I feel like I'm ranting... LOL! I'll shut up! Don't we have a few surgeries this week??? I wish you all a speedy recovery and can't wait to see you on the loser side! Hugs, Katie

Good morning, Katie! If you come to Knoxville that is just about 45 mintues from my house! Michelle lives in Knoxville. Why have you changed your mind about your trip?? I hope I receive my walking dvd today! I am going to Clarksville to see Dr. Hruska at her office Thur. Morning. We are leaving here Wen. morning and staying in a motel that night so I can find the office and be there bright and early for my first pre-op visit. I am so happy I am on my way! Have a GREAT week! Hey Cherry this is funny, if your coming to Clarksville thats about 45min from my house. When you see the New Hope Rd. exit#31 think about me. I wish I could meet some of you guys. We must have us a get togather midway sometime. Of couse everyone wants to have surgery first. Hope your pre-op goes well for you. Isn't it exciting? As I said I have some Pre-op's this week also. Hi Cherry, I have a question for you. Why would you want to go all the way to Clarksville for your surgery, when Johnson City is closer? Even my Dr. is worried about an emergency and the 2 hour travel time to get to the hospital. I was just curious because of the travel time in case of an emergency. Kathi, Believe me when I say I did NOT want to go 5 hours away to have WLS BUT...... I had three doctors I could choose from in my insurance network. Doctor #1 Heard to many horror stories even though he is the closes to my house! Doctor #2 Quick takeing my insurance 3 days before my first app. with him he was second closes to my house. #3 Doctor is the Dr. of my choice just wish she was alot closer so there you have it in a nut shell Insurance and all the red tape that goes with it! Hiya Katie and everyone! Its a beautiful Monday morning! Especially since we're moving to the new house on Friday. Yeah baby!!! I'm so happy I could just sh*t. Also this is my last week at my current job. I'll be starting a new one in Nashville some time in July. Funny how you get that "bite me" mentality when you know that job is pretty much over lol. Putting my notice in took about 3 tons of weight/stress off my shoulders and made me a happy camper. Savanna is making her lunch for school right now, its so cute. She feels she needs two pieces of meat on her sandwich lol. On the wls note, i'm 4 wks PO tomorrow, so i'll weigh myself at work in the morning and give an update. Pray pray pray i'm losing. I ate watermelon last night, and it was WONDERFUL! Didnt have any problems. It was soooo red and juicy. Outta site!!! Ok time to head to work. See ya this evening. God bless!! Melanie
