Profile Updates

Hiya! I just wanted to send out a reminder for everybody to be sure to date and update your profiles. Reading profiles of other people going through the same battles I am has just been an amazing way for me to learn. I just noticed that so many people haven't updated or let us know their story. Those of you *****ad other people's profiles know what a wonderful thing it is. If you don't know how to update your profile, just click on "YOUR PROFILE" up top, enter in your name and password, then go down to general info and type in the little box whatever you want, be sure to date it too! Thanks for your post. I just can not get enough of everybodies profiles. My surgery is sched. 7/28/04. It kinda makes me nervous thinking that maybe everyone who doesn't update post op haven't done so well or have started gaining wt. back again. Hope it's just that they're to happy & way to busy since their second chance at life. Also could you help me with my profile background it needs spiffing up. A whole lot. or maybe you know who the profile fairy is. Thanks Barb

Congrats on your surgery date!! I made sure to post on your surgery page! I think alot of the people who don't update profiles, are just unaware of how to do it and they haven't really explored the website a lot to find out how. Hay there Brandi, I have to say that in the beginning, I think I read all of the profiles that I could. They inspired me to believe that I was worth everything. And that I could be one of the "before and afters." I had my surgery on the 18th of December. And now I feel wonderful. I'm still shocked at what I see in the mirror. So I have to admit that I am one of the guilty ones that don't always update. I'm just so busy living for a change. thanks for the push that I needed to update. I forgot how important it is...Bernice..

Congrats! I can't wait til I get a before and after momment too. And speaking of before and after, don't you love the pictures???? I always try to find people who's before weight is close to mine and too see they are down 150lbs or so, just thrills me, makes me think it could happen to me too! Brandi
