New To Group

Hay there Rebecca, Congrats on your surgery date. I'm also new to this group. I can remember that once I made the decision to have this surgery, I couldn't think of anything else. Now that it's 6 months. I'm now noticing myself again. Your perfectly normal. I'm driving my dh crazy with the "is this normal" questions. He just laughs at me. Girl, consumed isn't the word for it, more like obsessed or possessed!! LOL I know how you feel about the whole hubby thing, my dh hasn't ever had a weight problem & has now worked his way down to a muscular 36 inch waist, which I could absolutely strangle him for, but he just can't understand the weight issue, so these boards have been a great source of support & information, as well as friendship. I too am pretty new to this board... but it has been a big blessing to have the honor of talking and reading about some of the things that go on before and after surgery... Soak up all the information you can... That is what I do and if I have a question... everyone is eager to let me know how they did it or dealt with it... So this little support line.. is great and I have made some lasting friends... I hope.... lol... Well best wishes... I am having surgery this week .... So i will be a loser soon....
