Update on 2nd appt

Hey Everyone, Just updating about my 2nd appt. It SUCKED!!!! After about 10 minutes in the nurse comes in and says I 'm Sorry but the dr had to leave on an emergency and we must reschedule. I was PISSED !!! Mind you I drove 2 hrs to that appt,but I guess if I was sick I would want the dr too! So I am going again tomorrow. Oh well hopefully It will go OK

I am so sorry you had to be put off and make another appt. i know that had to suck!!!!!!!!! after driving for 2 hours i know because i had to drive for hour and a half yesterday to go to Dr Hruska seminar,i just hate going that far.I am trying to find a nutrition class here some where closer to me maybe in Nashville i guess.For the lap band if you know anything about this please let me know ok ttus Eva

I know what you both mean about the drive. I'm not very comfortable on the Interstate I try to avoid it the best I can. Back allys for me. I'll go 30miles out of my way to stay away from the Interstate. Where is Dr. Hruska's office? I don't remember what ins. you said you have. Try Summit or Southern Hills the# should be in telebook, I think my pain managenment Dr. said they do lapband. Try all the hospitals in Nashville you might find one on here. hey michelle sorry your appoint was so lousy, in my oppinent( sorry for spelling) they don't get much better. my first post op with the dr lasted a whole 5 to 10 minutes and i didn't even get to ask what i wanted to ask. they never even told me when to go back to work. i have to be able to lift 25lbs before i can return.good luck tomorrow. see ya lisa-25lbs

Hiya Michelle. Sorry you got rescheduled but atleast its soon! Thats the draw back with doctors, they are always in demand. Sometimes it just cant be helped. I've worked with docs for 10 yrs now and know that first hand. Imagine being the nurse, having 3 patients in the rooms, and the doc calls you from the ER to say... i'm going to be late, no idea how long. Try explaining to the patients lol its not easy. Hi Michelle, I'm sorry this happened to you. As you know it takes me 4 hours to get to JC to Dr. Watson also. Once they called me as I was WALKING OUT MY DOOR and cancelled my appt only to make the new one for 4 MONTHS away. I was LIVID to say the least. I'd have freaked on them if they'd have done that once I was THERE. I understand things do happen but sure makes it inconvenient for us. I have to have my gallbladder out now. I am using a local surgeon. I also have to have my stoma dilated but I'll do that in JC. Hopefully with both these things done my eating and drinking won't be so painful. I go back to Dr. Watson on the 24th at 11:20 in the morning. Hugs, Beckey
