Hi fellow obh.com members, this is Richard Meeks and I just wanted to say thanks for all the prayers and emails from this group. I had my WLS on June 7 at Centennial Medical Center and did absolutely GREAT! I came home on June 8~8pm. Ill have to admit, the first 24 hours at home was rough! I cried and cried.... my roommate called me sybil. The last few days have been good, Im getting to know the vitamins, and fluids well. Just wanted to say THANKS! for your support and prayers. Im sure I will be continuing to need them, but it is nice to be on the loosing side... Richard Meeks Lap GBP 6/7/04 Dr Hugh Houston

Congrats Richard. I identify with the crying. I did the same. I could be so happy one minute and in tears the next. I know the pain is aweful the first couple days. I was so glad I was still in the hosp for lots of Toradol. Hugs, Beckey

Hiya Richard and welcome home! Glad to hear things are going well for you, but sorry to hear you cried like Sybil lol. Isnt Dr. Houston the best? Centennial is a great hospital. Did Ferrah take care of you? I loved that girl! Hang in there hon, it gets better every day! God bless! Melanie
