As for me....

Well kids, It's been a while since I updated what's going on with ME, so, here goes.... The Centennial Center for Morbid Obesity FINALLY has all the "stuff" they need to submit to my insurance company (BCBS PPO). I called my insurance lady "Denise" and she said it's sitting on "Bens" (I'm not positive this is the name she gave me, cuz I'm old AND blonde, dangerous combo) desk waiting for a letter to accompany it to the insurance. MY doctors office has been promising me a letter to accompany the claim for weeks, and I finally have that in my hot lil hand, so, I also wrote a letter to accompany the Dr's letter that will accompany "Bens" letter to accompany the insurance claim that will accompany my 5 year medical history. I have my sleep study June 15th but don't know how I'm gonna do that without my wonderfully fantabulous husband in the bed with me. I CANNOT sleep without him in the bed..Silly huh??? Anyways, I'll make the best of it, and keep "ya'll" posted. Kisses, hugs, and let me know what you all wanna do in regards to our "get together"... Carol

Thats great, Carol! All your ducks are in a row. Hopefully your insurance will be quick to approve with all the needed information provided. Sounds like you have all the bases covered. I'll keep you in my prayers sweetie! Mel

Once they receive all that stuff, it's right around the corner!! I know we don't want to get our hopes up before it's set in stone, but it's probably closer than you know. You'll probably be turning around in a couple months and going, "Wow, when did all that happen?!" Once I'd confirmed that all my stuff had been received by BC/BS of AL PPO, I was approved in about one week. Good luck!! I'll be thinking of you! Erin in Antioch

Carol, We have the exact same insurance and policy...with the State of Tennessee. It took them 3 days to approve me. Just call them a day or two after they send in your stuff and tell them that you'll call them everyday until the day that they approve you.....LOL I think I scared them. But non-the-less....I got approved in short order.
