Well I hope that you all have a great day today. I'm gonna work 5-12 hour shifts a wee****il my surgery. That'll give my husband some extra money to buy a new kitchen window and have something productive to do during the four weeks that I'm off. He's taking family leave.....but that's ok. Well I should probably get back to work. You guys have a great day. Anne

Anne, You and I are the early birds of the group. You are in my thoughts and prayers as your surgery date quickly approaches. PLEASE let me know if you need anything. Hugs, Carol

Hey Anne, Sounds like a lot of work, all those shifts and I know how tough it can be at the MED. I know what you mean about your husband having something constructive to do while you are off. My husband is taking the week off aft my surgery. He works for St. Francis Hospital and he doesn't have enough time for much more then a week. Anyway, he is roofing our garage the week he is off but then of course he is attending to my every need. HA. Have a good day. Rita

Anne, you be careful and dont wear yourself out. Are you taking vitamins already? Hate to sound like a mom but you'll need strength for the surgery. 12 hour shifts were always so strenuous on me. A new kitchen window huh? I cant wait to move into our new house. SO exciting. God bless! Mel

I've been taking the vitamins for 3 weeks now. Started the week after I started my nutrition classes. I have fingernails!!!!! LOL...I'm even filing and putting hardener on them. It's so cool. I am off the two days prior to surgery and am planning on doing nothing but packing for the day. But 40 hours of overtime per pay period is going to be pretty to finish remodelling the kitchen.
