I Finally Got My Date

I had my appointment with Dr. McGrath today and it was great!!!! It was kinda funny...I know her husband from working in the trauma ICU with him. We talked more about who we both knew and who was a good surgeon and who wasn't .... We did however get to the topic of my surgery.... DRUM ROLL....... June 28th at 8am. I am so hyped right now. I already called my boss and she was thrilled for me and told me not to worry about the 4 weeks off and the 2 weeks light duty...she told me she was PROUD of me for making this decision. My best friend came with me to the appointment and then we went out and celebrated.....wooohooo it's finally going to happen now. Anne

Anne, I am so excited for you. That is great. I know I really like Dr. McGrath also and we also talked a lot about who we knew and we knew a lot of the same people also because I work for a vascular surgeon. I know personally it makes me feel more secure about the surgery knowing how highly qualified she is and how highly she comes recommended. I am very happy for you and know this time will pass very quickly for you. Rita

Hey, Anne, Dr. M is doing me this Tuesday - I think we spoke of this already. If I wasn't so confident with her, I think I would've backed out by now. I am getting nervous - tomorrow is last day of food as Monday is bowl prep day . Rita, I will see you on Wednesday!! Take care everyone! Victoria
