Good Mornin Roomies! What's on everyone's fun list for the weekend? I've got nothing too exciting going on in my lil world. My son leaves for Korea on Monday, I'm sure gonna miss him! He's got to catch a plane in Nashville, to OK, then to LAX (an adventure unto itself) and LAX to Korea, ALL ON MEMORIAL DAY...Now doesn't THAT sound like fun??? LOL, poor kid... Just glanced out the window, it's raining, maybe a good day to stay in bed with a good book .....Hugs, Carol

Not sure what the weekend holds. Gonna visit the family on Sunday but I got the urge to go somewhere since all of this recoop from surgery and starting back to work this week. May just have to go somewhere even if fo a nice drive or to walk around a mall or something ...

Good Morning! I'll be spending my weekend with my beautiful nephew. Wish me luck! He's about 14 or 15 months old and has turned in to quite a handful! But since he's spending the night - No shopping in chattanooga! I'm gonna miss all the memorial day sales! Oh well... Other then that - I'm sure were having dinner with family on Sunday or Monday! Good morning.....I just got back from the airport and just got done spraying for poison ivy and poison oak and what ever other poison stuff I could find. I'm sick of getting the rashes....:ugh:I'm RESTING WITH NO COMPANY AT THE HOUSE THIS WEEKEND... :hooray:

Hello everyone...I'm going to try to post on here a little more often now that I'm not as busy at work. I'm super-single , so my weekend will probably be different from most people's on here. I'm going to go to that new movie--"The Day After Tomorrow." I think that's going to be awesome on the big screen. A girl from my office is having her wedding reception tonight, so I'm going to that. All my co-workers are going for the meal, so I'll have to sit through that and not eat to hang with them. Should be fun, though. After that, I think I'm going to veg in the house all weekend, probably dink around on the computer since I am broke after paying all my separate deductibles for my surgery in the last month. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys their Memorial Day celebrations! Erin in Antioch

I am single too...and plan to go and see "The Day After Tomorrow" as well. I was looking in the newspaper at movies today and found that there is now a drive in movie in the area..well about 15 miles away. Boy---does that bring back some memories. It has been at least 20 years since I have gone to a drive-in. SO....I have decided that this evening, I am going to go pick up some dinner and take it to the drive in and watch the movie! I am really looking forward to this! (Does not take much to excite me...huh?) Melanie---Congratulations on your successful surgery. I had no doubt that you would do fine. You have such a positive attitude and bright outlook--it could not have gone any other way. Keep your spirit.

Happy Saturday roomies!! I'm now 4 days post op. Last night.... I SLEPT ON MY SIDE!!! Oh yeah!! little victories. My body was trying to run a low grade fever again last night. I decided to go on to bed, and woke some time during the night sweating something awful. So I knew it was gone. I'm feeling a bit punch drunk and thats because i'm not taking my Effexor. They gave it to me in the hospital and I dumped so i'm afraid to take it now. A big shock, I got flowers from my work today. Certainly wasn't expecting that. Its a sunny day out there today. Maybe i'll get brave and go outside. Enjoy your weekend friends. Love you guys!! Melanie

Melanie ~ If you start getting a fever again, DRINK SOME WATER and as much as you can.... That usually helped me alot when that happened. Take care and Make sure you heal and recovery before doing anything silly out side, chickie! Hugs, Katie
