My BCBS Sucks any suggestions????

Hey, I am kinda knew here and have been doing more reading than posting. I have BCBS PPO and have been told that WLS is an exclusion because I work for a small employer group, I was told that the only BCBS that pays is Self funded companies. So my question is I am even willing to change jobs to have this surgery, I am a medical assist. with over 10 years medical exper. Any suggestions from anyone.

Hiya Polly! I have BCBS federal, and am also a medical assistant. From what i've seen most people dont have trouble with bcbs. However, if its an exclusion I dont think there's anything you can do. BCBS gives different people more trouble than others. took me three appeals to get BCBS of the State to authorize surgery.
