What's the best way to get help?

Is it best to request a case manager with TennCare or to let the PCP try to get you started? I have an appointment on Monday with my PCP, but I'm not sure how to get started exactly. I would like to have a general plan to present to him to try to make it easier.

The best place to get started is with your PCP. Then call the case management office of the type of Tn. care you have. I talked to my PCP and then for 2 months nothing happened so...... someone very smart on this board told me the same thing I am telling you. Please e-mail me if I can be any help. By the way what kind of Tn. Care do you have?? The case manger will get in touch with your PCP and let you know surgeons that your Tn care will cover in your area.
