Congratulations, Sherry! Sounds like you're doing wonderful! 47 pounds is remarkable. Hope I can do that well myself. I have 9 days to go until my rebirthday. Getting anxious. So glad you have been able to stop so many medications. I'm sure you're thrilled. Congrats again and God bless ya! Melanie

47 lbs in a little over a month, that is so great! Are you still drinking your protein drinks? I know for some people who don't like those thick shakes there are some berry flavored drinks out there that contain lots of protein. Good luc****ep us updated ya'll are such inspirations to us winners (well we have to be called something if we're not losers) oh wait how bout this gainers! LOL Candi

Hello Sherry! Congrats on your loss! That's amazing! I looked up my booklet for protein ideas for you.... Just read below! -Cat fish -Carp -Black-eyed beans -refried beans -baked beans -cheese (Ricotta and other types) -chicken -clams -crab -cottage cheese -chick peas -cream cheese -Deli meats -eggs and egg beaters -Great northern beans -flunder -kidney beans -lamb -lima beans -liver -lobster -Veggie burgers (Harvest burgers in the freezer aisle) -milk -Navy beans -oysters -peanut butter -pinta beans -pork -salmon -sardines -shrimp -shark -soy milk -tuna fish -turkey -veal -tofu -yogurt -trout Before eating any of these foods because it has "protein" make sure your allowed to go further past the blended diet with your doctor. I hope this list helps a bit though. You can always try protein shakes or protein bars. I personally haven't tried the bars but i still can't find a shake I can handle yet. Good luck and Congrats on your loss! -Katie

By the way, from what I've found being 7 weeks out and grocery shopping! LOL! Fish of any kind seems to have ALOT of protein compared to other things - Keep that in mind when your shopping for food and hopefully you'll LIKE fish but make sure its not breaded!
