STILL waiting LOL
Hello K-Mart shoppers! 
Well, after waiting for over a month and a half for my Doctors office to schedule a consult with a sleep specialist, they finally sent me a letter with an appointment with the ONLY place I specifically said I DO NOT WANT TO GO! Not only that, but the appointment wasn't until July. So, I called my doctors office, and said there must be some mistake as I specifically told them NO VANDERBILT under ANY cir****tances! I took some good advice I recieved on here, and asked for the office manager who was very nice, apologized, and agreed, it was "right here on your chart"..... go figure...anyways, she told me to schedule one myself, and then they would call in the referral...Two days later, I was in the sleep specialists office at the Frist Center (what a wonderful bunch of people) with a date for my sleep study of June 6th!!!
I haven't heard anything from my insurance company, they asked for a five year medical history which I provided...Oh what the hay, I've been fat for 40 years, whats another couple of months???? Thanks for all your moral support, and God bless all! More later, Carol

GEEEZZ sometimes don~t you just wonder about the people that do our scheduling. LOL...once as a precaution before a plastic surgery I wrote notes on my belly so my doc would make sure he operated on the right part...heheheheheeh....I am glad that you have a date and it is coming up. Hopefully the insurance will get behind you and you will have an approval as well as a surgery date. It would be grand to have some TN summer as a thinner person! Best of wishes to you!!

Hiya Carol. WOOO HOOO congratulations!! Another step taken in your journey to the losers bench. I told you it pays to talk to the office manager. If no other employee in the practice gives a crap, that manager will. Thats how they get to those positions. We have 5 docs in our practice so we have a lot of various complaints. Believe you me when I say the manager comes straight to us when someone complains. I'm so happy for ya hon!
