WOO HOOO I GOT A DATE!!!

I'm so shocked I dont know where to begin!! I went to Dr. Hugh Houston for my surgical consult today, and when the appointment was over, I walked out with all the arrangements in hand. My lap RNY surgery will be May 26th at Centennial Medical Center. I go back on the 11th for the psych eval and all pre op testing. I cant believe its happening so fast. Apparently having BCBS federal is a great thing. God bless BCBS!!! I think i'll tattoo that on my behind once its thin lol. I'm soooo excited!!! Thats a great date for me cause i'm on vacation the first week of June, and my husband is off the first two weeks. Since i'm out of town, they even made me a hotel reservation for FREE to come down the night before. Dr Houston and his staff are incredible!!! I'm on my way!!!! God bless!! Melanie

Isnt it?? I just couldnt believe it. Was almost like a dream and any second that awful alarm clock would scream in to wake me up. I kept wanting to pinch myself. When back in the safety of my car I screamed like a banchee in extreme happiness. I wonder what its like to be thin?? Mel

Congratulations Melanie! Actually I think I saw you today as I stopped in briefly to pay my surgical fee and I think you were waiting. Wasn't sure it was you so I did not speak (I can be bashful in person) I am very excited for you, I know you'll do great!

Was I sitting by the windows? And was there a girl waiting at the desk and spoke to you? If so I saw you too!! Shame on you for not speaking lol. I would have loved to meet you in person. We'll get another opportunity!! Hugs!! Melanie

Good luck i am 2 weeks post op today

Congradulations! I am very happy for you! I would have loved to get my surgery done at Centennial Medical Center with Dr. Huston. My insurance wont pay because it is out of network. It will pay in network, so I am going with Dr. Lindy Hruska in Clarksville. They have a good program at Centennial Medical center and a good after care program. So again congradulations! Lisa

I have a consultation July 20th with Dr. Lindy Hruska. I have already had my psych consult and dietary consult. I have do a sleep study May 27th. It seems too far away. lisa
