Hello everyone!

Hi all. Just wanted to give an update! I haven't posted on this board in a while b/c I have been busy researching & talking to my fellow bandsters. I have decided to switch from the DS to the Lapband & I couldn't be more excited! I am planning on having surgery w/Dr. Morton, has anyone used him? He only does the band, so I'm pretty confident he could probably do the surgery w/his eyes closed! I am a posting fool on the lap band forum, but will try & keep everyone on the TN site updated. HI Candi, What insurance do you have? did you get to pay for the lapband? Just curious, sharon

Hey Sharon, I have BCBS but it's through Bridgestone & our policy does include surgery for treatment of morbid obesity, but I'm not sure yet if it will cover the Lapband, but I plan to fight tooth & nail to get it! So wish me luck. Also, I am originally from Hunstville myself, only lived in good ol' TN for 7 years now.
