Newby w/questions

What are the guidelines for lap surgery? Would I every qualify with a Dr and Insurance at 202lbs and 5'2" on a really good day. I am 56 years old and have lost over 200 lb in my life time as a heavy weight. I know that some would think I am small. But.... 77 + to loose is so overwhelming. I have been overweight all my adult life. Any thoughts out there? Linda

MY DOC SAID THE GUIDELINES ARE A BMI OF 40 OR 35 WITH HEALTH PROBLEMS SUCH AS BLOOD PRESSURE, HEART, ARTHRITIS ETC. I THINK THEY HAVE A BMI CALCULATOR ON THIS WEB SITE IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOURS IS.
