Tennessee bill about WLS

Jama had a post on this board last week about the bill that would ensure that insurance companies would pay for bariatric surgery in TN. The House author of the bill, Rep. Overby, was at Dr. Colquitt's support group meeting last night and was very informative. He said to CALL or WRITE your state senator AND representative giving your support for the two bills (one in the House and one in the Senate). I made my 2 calls to Nashville just a few minutes ago and it was easy as pie! i am so glade people are takeing a step for people who are overweight it is just a death sentece i think. i think it would be alot cheaper to pay for the surgery than to pay for the medication and doctors visits for the rest of your life that you take for being obesit
