Need PCP in or near Winchester TN that is WLS friendly

When I started this journey I had insurance that most surgeons didnt take and when i asked my PCP for a referall letter he reluctantly said he would give me one if i could find a surgeon. Well i couldnt find one and gave up. That was 1 1/2 years ago. Since then i have married and changed ins. and my new ins covers surgery and is accepted at most surgeons. Now PCP dosen't seem to be happy with me or for me. I am looking for a PCP that is "WLS friendly" and won't discourage my decesion to have surgery. thanks a lot Leigh

Leigh, I haven't told my PCP that I am having WLS but will be telling her next Friday. I live in Fayetteville and if she is pro-surgery (I think she will be) I will let you know. You might even call her office and ask. Her name is Dr. Karen Williams. She is great. Good luck. Pat
