support groups in NWTN?

I am looking for a support group in the NWTN area. My surgeon is in Memphis, and although my office is there, I don't get down there as much anymore. Something closer would definitely help me out. I am just over 3 months out and even though I am not doing bad, I wish I was doing a smidge better. I think what I am lacking is the support. OH is a wonderfull support community, but support groups seem so much more personal.

 Chenck on Centennial's website www.cmcwls.com, they have a list of support groups in the surrounding area, I don't know how far you are from Nashville, but there may be one close to you.  You might also e-mail your surgeon and see if he knows of any?

 I live in Weakley county and work in UC.  Please post again if you find a support group in our area or if you are interested in trying to form one.

There is a support group that is scheduled to meet at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tennessee on Tuesday, May 8th at 5:00 or 5:30 pm in a conference room near the cafeteria. I will post the exact time when I get a confirmation.

There is a support group thru Centennial in Martin TN.

I have thought about going. It's about a 45 min drive for me.

It's the old movie theater downtown. At least I think its downtown lol.

I will definitely look into this. I am changing jobs soon and will be working in Union City as opposed to traveling, so this would work wonders for me!

I am calling about the support group in Martin in the morning. If the info is still valid, I will be attending tomorrow evening. I will post any info I find out. Thanks everyone!
