Dr. Weaver's leave of absence

A patient of Dr. Weaver at St. Francis/Memphis posted on the band forum that Dr. Weaver has been on an extended leave of absence since this spring and won't return until November. I like and admire Dr. Weaver and hope she's OK. Also, I've heard from other patients that the new bariatric surgeon at St. Francis is anti-band, which makes a bandster like me worry about having to deal with him if I have problems in the future. Does anyone know what's going on?
