Does Tenncare Medicaid pay for revision or conversion?

I had lap roux-en-y 16 months ago with Dr Greg Mancini and lost ONLY 50 lbs.

I was wondering IF anyone has had a conversion or revision and had Tenncare/Medicaid pay for it? I am hoping to have a conversion from roux-en-y to BPD/DS or prehaps just have a revision on the roux-en-y.

I see Dr Keary Robert Williams at Dr Stephen Boyce's office on Feb 7th.

Would love to have any advice.

Thanks and God Bless You.

Angela, Dr. Williams does not do a DS on anyone under a 50BMI. Dr. Boyce, however will. At least he wouldn't do one on me, he INSISTED I had to have a RNY, that I was too small for a DS even tho my medical history pointed to a DS.

I would rethink that appt and ask for Dr. B instead.
