In need of a therapist

I am looking for a therapist that has experience with food issues and takes HealthSpring/Magellan insurance.

Any suggestions?

I don't know what insurance programs they take, but there are many good therapists at Athena Consulting in Nashville.

Personally, I see Dr. Janice Livengood from Athena.  She runs Monday night support groups at Centennial.  Dr. Ihrig is also at Athena and is really good from what I hear.

For me, my weight issues are more in my head (eating disorder, impulse control, ADHD etc.) than in my stomach and she has been invaluable help to me.

Those are the issues I have also. Its all in my head.

I called and they do not take my insurance. I have been given several names and I am going to see what I can find out about them.
