Pre-Op Testing (Hernia)

Just got finished with some pre-op testing at St. Francis in Bartlett, TN and was told I have a hernia....Anyone else ever went through this??? Will it effect my ability to have the lap band procedure??

I had a hernia when I had my RNY. It didn't interfere with my surgery I don't see why it would interfere with band surgery depending on the size and exact location.

Mine was umbilical and I had it repaired when I had plastic surgery 2 years later.

I found out I have a hiatal hernia during pre-op testing. My surgeon said it's not a big deal and will fix it during surgery.
