DS Revision

Does anyone know of a GOOD surgeon in Nashville that does revisions from RNY to DS?

The two DS surgeons in Nashville are Hugh Houston at Centennial and Albert Spaw at Baptist.  I was a lap band to DS revision and I had Dr. Houston perform my surgery.  You would have to speak with him about a RNY to DS revision.  His staff is excellent.  His number is 615-342-5420.  Dr. Spaw's number is 615-284-2345.

Dr. Houston will do a revision but you will not get a true DS (more like a ERNY) I believe he will keep your pouch and then he will re-route your intestines to be like the DS.  So you will have malsorborpsion but not a full stomach.    I have not heard of Dr. Spaw doing a revision from RNY to DS but he is a very good surgeon so I would think he could but you may want to check with his office.   Good luck in your journey.
